Before the Initial Coaching session
Once you book an appointment, you will be emailed the Welcome Package with a few intake forms to fill out and return back to me prior to your visit.
The Initial coaching session
This is where we get to know each other. We’ll go over your intake forms where you are welcome to share more about yourself and your goals.
We’ll start to uncover your past and present relationships with food and the body.
We may run some “in-office” tests to look at your unique physiology and biochemistry. Some additional labs and other diagnostic assessments might be recommended at this stage, if necessary.
Then, we’ll determine your long-term objectives, needs, and concerns, so we can support you with them during our time together.
Subsequent sessions
Those sessions are “work in progress”, where we discuss what’s happening between sessions and what comes up for you as you gain more awareness and understanding of your unique physiology in addition to your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about food/lifestyle/habits and your body. During these sessions we will:
- guide you in identifying the culprits for your health issues and their potential root causes
- explore the ways they can intersect and affect you physically, mentally, and spiritually
- recommend various evidence-based strategies to help you move toward your goals while identifying and working through any barriers that come up
At the end of each session, we’ll come up with a plan together of what you’ll work on in the coming weeks.
